New Houses Built in South Hamgyong Province of DPRK

Pyongyang, July 18 (KCNA) -- New houses have been built even in remote mountain villages of Kowon County in South Hamgyong Province.

People are filled with joy in the villages of Tachon and Songnae farms where single- and low-storied and terraced dwelling houses are in good harmony with trees of good species.

Present at a ceremony for moving into the new houses were Wi Chol Su, secretary of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials, builders and agricultural workers in Kowon County.

Kim Se Il, vice-chairman of the provincial people's committee, made a congratulatory speech. And licenses for the use of the houses were conveyed to be followed by speeches.

Amid a cheerful dancing, officials shared joy with families of the agricultural workers of new owners.

Wedding ceremonies of young men and women were held at Tachon Farm, adding to the festive atmosphere of the village. -0-
