Pyongyang, December 8 (KCNA) -- The construction of 10 000 flats at the fourth stage in the Hwasong area is being accelerated at the final stage.

The headquarters for building 50 000 flats in Pyongyang Municipality is organizing and commanding the work to make sure that every construction unit pushes ahead with the projects for completing the interior of flats and public buildings in a qualitative way and ensures the normal operation of water pumps and equipment in a responsible manner.

The brigade of the Pyongyang Municipal People's Committee is papering the walls of rooms and installing their doors while taking measures for ensuring the interior temperature and increasing the ranks of skilled workers.

After finishing assembling transformer equipment and laying cables, the battalion of the Ministry of Finance of the first brigade of the ministries and national agencies is making their test run. The battalions of the Ministry of Regional Industry, the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Construction and Building-Materials Industry are doing the detailed work as required by construction methods.

The builders of the battalions of the Kyonghung Trade Bureau and the Ponghwa Trade Bureau of the second brigade of the ministries and national agencies and the regiment of the Phyongjin Construction Management Bureau of the brigade of the Pyongyang Construction Commission are also pushing ahead with their projects at the final stage.

The regiment of the Ministry of Electric Power Industry and the battalion of the Ministry of Urban Management are conducting water-pass tests after finishing assembling equipment of external facilities. -0-
