Dancing Parties of Youth and Students Held in DPRK

Pyongyang, February 9 (KCNA) -- Dancing parties of youth and students took place across the DPRK on Thursday, the 76th founding anniversary of the Korean People's Army (KPA).

Dancing parties began with the melody of "Song of the Korean People's Army" at dancing venues in the capital city including the plazas of the Pyongyang Indoor Stadium and the Arch of Triumph.

The participants danced with the reverence for President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il who realized the great cause of building the army by dint of self-reliance with their outstanding idea and leadership and developed the KPA into an invincible revolutionary army.

They danced, singing in chorus songs in praise of patriotism and fighting spirit of the defenders of the country in the 1950s who created the immortal myth of war victory.

The atmosphere of dancing parties were revved up by the stamina of the young people who will accelerate the development of advance of the country, true to the Workers' Party of Korea's sacred cause of revolution with youthful vigor, wisdom and enthusiasm.

There took place similar dancing parties in all seats of the provinces on the same day. -0-
