National Industrial Art Exhibition Opened in DPRK

Pyongyang, April 9 (KCNA) -- A national industrial art exhibition opened to commemorate April 15, the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

On display at the exhibition is a photo of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visiting the National Industrial Art Exhibition held on the occasion of the 100th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

On show by sectors are more than 120 industrial art designs, including doctor and nurse uniforms of the Pyongyang General Hospital and signboards of city and county industrial factories personally guided by the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un and hundreds of designs newly created by industrial art creation units and education units across the country, along with models and products.

Light industrial goods and electronic products turned out at the newly-built regional-industrial factories and dozens of units including the Ryuwon Footwear Factory and the Sinuiju Cosmetics Factory will be on sale, alongside technological exchange and information service for the latest industrial art designs.

An opening ceremony took place at the Industrial Art Exhibition House of the Central Industrial Art Bureau on April 8.

Present there were officials concerned and officials and creators in the field of industrial art.

Kim Chang Sok, vice-premier of the Cabinet, made an opening address.

The speaker called on all participants to create more unique and popular designs and devote their wisdom and enthusiasm to reserves training and research. -0-
