Central-level Hospitals in DPRK Help Medical Workers in Regions Improve Their Technique

Pyongyang, June 15 (KCNA) -- Central-level hospitals in the DPRK are organizing the passing-on technique meetings for medical workers in the regions.

Until now, more than one hundred doctors and nurses of regional hospitals at city and county levels have been enrolled in passing-on-technique system to acquire medical technique, and their medical practice abilities and qualifications are improving.

The Pyongyang University of Medicine Hospital makes sure that competent medical workers give lectures at a passing-on-technique facility equipped with modern medical equipment, apparatuses and fixtures.

The Kim Man Yu Hospital and the Ryugyong General Ophthalmic Hospital are teaching IT knowledge and operating experience to medical workers from the regions so that they can utilize the intelligent information systems to be introduced at city and county hospitals.

The Pyongyang Maternity Hospital and the Okryu Children's Hospital are making efforts to transfer techniques for various clinical symptoms and advanced cures in the spheres of obstetrics and gynecology and pediatrics, and to exchange the experience. -0-
