Pyongyang, January 14 (KCNA) -- The respected Marshal Kim Jong Un received on January 13 a letter from the members of the 35th Art Troupe of Korean Schoolchildren in Japan who participated in the 2026 New Year performance of schoolchildren.

Before leaving the homeland, we, on behalf of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) and all Koreans in Japan, make a deep bow of thanks to the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un who regards the children of Korean compatriots in the alien land as gold and gems and provided them with the whole of glory and happiness they wished even in their dreams, the letter stressed.

The members said in the letter that whenever they heard the news of the revolutionary activities of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un almost every day during their visit to the homeland, they devoted all their wisdom and enthusiasm to perfecting their performance, full of the desire to please with their dances and songs Kim Jong Un who is making a ceaseless forced march for devoted service for the people's wellbeing throughout the year.

They noted that they did not expect that the Marshal would give them presents associated with his love and have an honorable photo taken with them on the occasion of the New Year before they performed their dances and songs to give pleasure to him and repay his deep care.

They also said that the worthwhile days in the socialist homeland served as a significant occasion that would be unforgettable all their lives as the days that instilled the patriotic intention and will into the hearts of the younger generation of Chongryon and indicated the way to be followed by them, adding that all the members of the art troupe are full of the firm pledge to repay his love with patriotism and loyalty.

They also expressed their will to invariably take the road of patriotism following only the fatherly Marshal despite difficulties with the dignity and honor of being proud Koreans as they had pledged at the 2026 New Year performance.

They pledged to bear deep the earnest request of the Marshal and learn hard the Korean language, letters and culture, grow up to be cheerful and staunch and firmly carry forward the baton of the patriotic cause of Chongryon as befitting the new generation of Chongryon who inherited the sacred ideal and spirit of the founder generation as the baton of patriotism.

The letter wished Kim Jong Un, the whole of their destiny and the symbol of the dignified and powerful DPRK, good health for the eternal prosperity of the socialist homeland and its people. -0-
