Pyongyang, April 1 (KCNA) -- Those educators who have devoted their pure conscience and sincere efforts to the education of the rising generation were selected as the ten best teachers for 2025 in the DPRK.
The certificates of ten best teachers for 2025 were conferred on Ri Chol, a teacher of Kim Chol Ju University of Education, Rim Hye Sim, a teacher of Jungdok Primary School in Phyongsong City affiliated to Phyongsong Teachers Training College, Kang Sun Hwa, a teacher of Jongju Primary School in Jongju City, Kim Un Hye, a teacher of Haeun Primary School in Haeju City, Kim Hyang Gum, a teacher of Anchang Senior Middle School in Rinsan County, Kim Myong Ok, a teacher of Phyonggang Primary School in Phyonggang County, Kim Yun Bong, a teacher of Kwangpho Senior Middle School in Jongphyong County, Yun Jong Hwa, a teacher of Hyejang Primary School in Hyesan City, Kim Un Suk, a teacher of Nongsa Senior Middle School in Taehongdan County, and Ri Un Chol, section chief of Kanggye Teachers Training College.
A meeting for awarding the title of the ten best teachers for 2025 took place at the People's Palace of Culture on March 31.
Present there were Jon In Chol, vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and officials and teachers in the field of education.
Jon Sung Guk, vice-premier of the Cabinet, made a speech at the meeting.
