South Hwanghae Province is feeding water to drought-prone wheat and barley fields.

Rural areas in North Hwanghae Province are supplying enough water to the farm fields by mobilizing all vehicles and mobile irrigation equipment.

South Phyongan Province is taking technical steps to cope with drought while carrying out its daily watering assignments by rationally organizing manpower in keeping with various farming processes being conducted simultaneously.

Agricultural workers in Pyongyang Municipality, North Phyongan and South Hamgyong provinces, too, are working hard to minimize the damage to crops. -0-
