Pyongyang, August 25 (KCNA) -- Following are major news items and articles in leading newspapers of the DPRK on Monday:

Editorials and articles are dedicated to the 65th anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il's start of the leadership of the revolutionary armed forces.

Successes have been made in various sectors and units of the national economy.

- An article denounces the persistent visit to Yasukuni Shrine by the Japanese right-wing forces who deny history.
