Pyongyang, January 25 (KCNA) -- Modern rural dwellings are springing up one after another in Kangwon Province of the DPRK amid the everyday news reports of house-moving ceremonies in the villages across the country.
The cozy dwellings, built at Hyonri and Sinphyong stockbreeding farms in Sepho County and Osongsan and Choso farms in Kimhwa County in harmony with the charming features of mountain villages, are a proud fruition of the energetic leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea which set the housing construction as the primary major policy task and is pushing ahead with the project.
Ceremonies of moving into those new houses took place on the spots respectively, with the attendance of officials of the Party and power organs in Kangwon Province and Sepho and Kimhwa counties, builders and agricultural workers.
Addresses were made there. Then, licenses for the use of houses were handed over to be followed by speeches.
As the farmers began to move into new houses, the farm villages resounded with happy songs and laughter. Officials visited the owners of new houses to congratulate them. -0-
