Preparations for Operating Sci-tech Learning Spaces of Leisure Complexes Brisk in DPRK

Pyongyang, May 23 (KCNA) -- Preparations for operating the sci-tech learning spaces of leisure complexes to be built in cities and counties of the DPRK are being pushed forward.

The field of science and technology has concluded the general design of an integrated information service system to be run at the sci-tech learning spaces of leisure complexes now under construction in cities and counties in contact with relevant sectors, including major sci-tech dissemination units and universities in Pyongyang.

The system helps conduct online lecture, symposium and extracurricular study including discussion about sister subjects.

It is also designed to hold various kinds of meetings including technical study, experience-sharing meeting, retraining and sci-tech examination of relevant cities and counties in the method of video-conferencing and conduct relay service for lectures and seminars held in Pyongyang and other regions.

At present, officials, scientists and technicians of various units taking part in the development of the system completed the development of dozens of subsystems and conducted the test interlock. On this basis, they are pushing ahead with all the work including the preparation of passing-on technique. -0-
