Pyongyang, December 27 (KCNA) -- Seminars took place in Nepal, India, Thailand, Pakistan, Denmark, Germany, Romania, Belarus, Algeria, Egypt and Mexico on the occasion of the 13th anniversary of demise of Chairman Kim Jong Il.

Present there were personages of political parties, organizations and institutions of those countries, members of the Juche idea study organizations and organizations for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people.

Speeches were made at the seminars.

The general secretary of the Central Committee of the Nepal Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist), the chairman of the Study Forum for Self-Reliance of Nepal and the secretary general of the Nepal-Korea Friendship Association said that the great Comrade Kim Jong Il devoted himself to the development of the state, happiness of the people and the human cause of independence till the last moments of his life and greatly encouraged the world people by defending the national sovereignty, the security of the people and the destiny of socialism with his steadfast independent politics.

Personages of the All India Indo-Korean Friendship Association, the Supreme Court of India and the Juche Philosophy Study Committee of India paid high tribute to HE Kim Jong Il who built the Democratic People's Republic of Korea into a powerful socialist state, highly lauding the exploits performed by him as the peerlessly great man who led the fierce DPRK-U.S. confrontation to victory.

The chairman of the Supreme Council of the National Socialist Party of Romania noted that Comrade Kim Jong Il published many famous works to clearly indicate the road ahead of the Korean revolution and the world socialist movement and made a great contribution to the accomplishment of the cause of independence.

Messages to the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un were adopted at the seminars in Nepal and Germany. -0-
