Pyongyang, November 20 (KCNA) -- The Bureau for the Protection of Cultural Heritage recently registered eight objects as national and regional intangible heritages with the help of various units.

The technology of making red-and-blue painting, legend of Mt Chilbo, technique of making Koryo medicinal herbs and customs of using them were registered as national intangible cultural heritages.

Pyongyang boiled rice with assorted mixtures, a special food of high nutritive value, and various brewing techniques that are associated with wisdom of the Korean ancestors were registered as regional intangible cultural heritages.

The newly-registered national and regional intangible heritages have enriched the treasure house of national cultural heritages. -0-
