Pyongyang, May 2 (KCNA) -- Mobile treatment and education teams, formed with medical workers of central-level hospitals, are active at the local hospitals newly built last year, according to Minju Joson.

The Ministry of Public Health made sure that competent medical workers from Kim Man Yu Hospital, Pyongyang University of Medicine Hospital and Okryu Children's Hospital were involved in the teams. The ministry also worked out detailed plans for the teams to do work such as helping medical workers of the local hospitals handle modern medical equipment skillfully and improve professional qualifications and abilities and put the medical activities and management at hospitals on a more regular and standardized basis.

At the Kangdong County Hospital, members of the team are orienting technical lectures and practical training at relevant departments to raising the clinical and technical level of medical workers and helping effectively manage and operate the comprehensive information system of medical activities and management established at the hospital.

At the Kusong City Hospital, those of the team are conducting technical lectures and practice in a methodological way to instruct various roentgen image interpretation methods.

Members of the team active at the Ryonggang County Hospital are devoting their wisdom and enthusiasm to improving the ability and qualifications of local medical workers, including the establishment of correct diagnostic methods and rational treatment plans according to them. -0-
