Paekak Falls; Natural Wonder in DPRK

Pyongyang, May 29 (KCNA) -- Visitors can see Paekak Falls, a natural wonder, in Chonbulsan-ri, Yonggwang County in South Hamgyong Province of the DPRK.

The falls have its origin at the southern foot of Mt Chonbul.

Water falls down in stair rods a stiff granite cliff at an incline of 75 degrees to a well at the bottom, presenting magnificent scenery.

The falls never die throughout the year for their rich source.

Surrounding green woods and red maples in autumn add beauty to the falls. -0-
