Pyongyang, January 17 (KCNA) -- All the agricultural workers in the DPRK have turned out in the farming preparations with their strong will to surely attain the grain production goal for this year marking the 80th birthday of the Workers' Party of Korea.

They spread millions of tons of self-sufficing manure to the farm fields in ten days.

The city of Haeju and the counties of Anak and Jaeryong in South Hwanghae Province carried out the transport of manure more than 1.2 times.

The city of Chongjin and the counties of Onsong and Hwadae in North Hamgyong Province have secured raw materials like fermented manure, huminite and organic compound fertilizer and applied effective methods for supplementing various nutritive elements to turn all farm fields into fertile ones.

Rural areas of the city of Sinpho and the counties of Yodok and Yonggwang in South Hamgyong Province have organized socialist emulations and carried out their daily quotas at 150 percent.

The counties of Mundok and Sukchon in South Phyongan Province have raised the operation rate of farm machines to transport thousands of tons of manure to farm fields a day.

Similar successes are witnessed in North Phyongan Province and Kaesong Municipality. -0-
