Participants in Celebrations of 79th KCU Birthday Visit Mangyongdae

Pyongyang, June 9 (KCNA) -- The participants in the celebrations of the 79th founding anniversary of the Korean Children's Union visited Mangyongdae, a sacred place of the revolution.

They visited the Mangyongdae Revolutionary Museum.

Being told about the historical relics preserved at the time-honored native home of the great leader Generalissimo Kim Il Sung, they grasped his personality as a peerlessly great man.

They also went round the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt Taesong, the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum, etc.

At the Youth Movement Museum, they looked round historical relics and data telling about the exploits of the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un who provided the brilliant tradition of the Juche-oriented children's movement and led the growth of the KCU members step by step.

They visited the National Exhibition of Children's Science Fiction Models and Inventions-2025 and consolidated the knowledge they learned at schools and broadened their common sense at the Central Zoo and the Natural History Museum.

The participants enjoyed a performance given by artistes of the National Acrobatic Troupe at the Pyongyang Circus Theater, and enjoyed themselves at cultural recreation grounds, including the Munsu Water Park and the Rungna People's Pleasure Park. -0-
