Pyongyang, September 29 (KCNA) -- According to Rodong Sinmun, the DPRK provinces are laying the foundations for producing finishing building materials needed for regional construction.

South Hwanghae Province has established the processes for producing paints and plastic tubes and put the production of finishing building materials on a normal footing.

North Hwanghae Province built a new tile production base by introducing the successes and experience gained by building materials production units.

South Hamgyong Province set a goal of modernizing the Songchongang Tile Factory and other finishing building materials production units and provided them with high-performance moulding machines and raw materials sorters for their increased production capacity.

North Hamgyong Province has added the capacity of producing various kinds of finishing building materials to the existing finishing building materials production base.

The Kanggye Building Materials Factory and other building materials production units in Jagang Province are exploring sources of raw materials and improving quality, thus making a lot of finishing building materials with locally available materials.

Finishing building materials production units in Kangwon, South Phyongan and other provinces have produced dozens of kinds of finishing building materials with locally available raw materials, thus opening up a prospect for fully supplying finishing building materials needed for regional construction. -0-
