Pyongyang, October 25 (KCNA) -- An online joint seminar took place in Brazil on the occasion of the 80th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Present at the seminar, themed "80-year-long history of the WPK", were personages of various political parties and organizations and members of the organizations for the study of the Juche idea and organizations for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people.

Speeches were made at the seminar.

The secretary of the International Relations of the Brazilian Communist Party said that the 80-year-long history of the WPK is associated with the undying feats of Comrade Kim Il Sung, Comrade Kim Jong Il and Comrade Kim Jong Un who made great contributions to its founding and development. He praised the Korean people for winning only the brilliant victories while destroying the imperialists' moves for aggression under the leadership of the WPK.

A member of the National Political Committee of the Brazilian Communist Party said the WPK is recognized as the most powerful and dignified Party in the world and that the WPK is leading to victory not only socialist construction in the DPRK but also the cause of the world progressives for independence against imperialism.

The chairman of the Brazilian institute of Paektu said that the WPK demonstrates its might as an invincible Party. This would be unthinkable without the exploits of Comrade Kim Il Sung, Comrade Kim Jong Il and Comrade Kim Jong Un, the founder and builders and leaders of the Party, the chairman said, adding that the WPK proved before the whole world that justice is sure to win.

The participants in the seminar watched the online photo exhibition "Invincible Party-WPK" and a video showing the proud entities of regional rejuvenation. -0-
