Pyongyang, November 20 (KCNA) -- The production of equipment and materials needed for next year’s irrigation projects is increasing in the DPRK.

The Haeju Irrigation Machine Plant produced hundreds of water pumps of various kinds and parts by its own efforts.

The Haeju Plastic Goods Factory made lots of plastic tubes and the Phyongsong Irrigation Machine Plant produces water pumps necessary for dry-field irrigation.

The Sinuiju Irrigation Machine Plant produced tens of thousands of meters of hoses.

Similar successes were made in Yonggwang County and other parts of the country. -0-
