One day in January 2017, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Pyongyang Bag Factory.

When he dropped in at the sample room of the factory, he was very satisfied with the many bags on display, saying that he would not forget that day.

After looking carefully at the bags of boys and girls from primary school to university on display for a while, he threw his eyes to the shoulder straps of the bags.

Sponges were put not only into their shoulder parts but also into their lower parts.

He said that it is not good to put the sponges into the lower parts of the straps as it will be inconvenient for the children with small hands to hold the straps and valuable materials will be wasted.

When visiting the sewing workshop, he repeatedly stressed that it is important to make even a shoulder strap well with motherly affection.

The manager of the factory was much moved by his teaching.

Since then, the factory has produced knapsack-style bags which are good-looking and high-quality, and convenient to shoulder. -0-
