Pyongyang, November 6 (KCNA) -- North Hwanghae Province of the DPRK strives to consolidate the foundation for producing building materials so as to accelerate the regional construction.

The province has pushed ahead with the maintenance and reinforcement of building-materials production bases and their capacity expansion in order to attain self-sufficiency in finishing building materials and to realize diversification of building materials in ranges, types and colors, while intensifying the technical guidance for developing new products and improving their quality.

The Sariwon Aeguk Essential Plastic Goods Factory and the Kyongam Building-Materials Factory have regularly held show of products to raise the technical and skill levels, thus producing good-quality plastic pipes, railings and other products.

Building-materials production units in Pongsan County launched a mass technological innovation movement to lay the foundation for production with light-burned magnesia as raw material.
