Pyongyang, March 3 (KCNA) -- On the bank of the picturesque River Taedong in Pyongyang, there is the Pyongyang Old People's Home, a Korean-style structure with a crane-shaped roof.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un personally initiated the construction of the splendid Pyongyang Old People's Home and provided meticulous guidance on all things ranging from designing to supply of materials.

The health-seekers at the home would say that all things, including rush mats in floor-heated rooms, soft Korean cushions and clothes chests, are associated with the warm paternal affection of General Secretary Kim Jong Un.

People are deeply moved to hear that the old persons eat all kinds of early fruits and receive new clothes from the state.

Health-seekers have frequently visited the children of Pyongyang Orphanage and Pyongyang Baby Home, both of which are located near the old people's home, and enjoyed cultural and emotional life while cultivating flowers at the fine hydroponic greenhouse of the home. All the old persons at the home say that they are the happiest as they enjoy tasty and nutritious healthy dishes.

Whenever seeing the happy looks of those old persons, people would recall with deep emotion the January 15th of the lunar calendar in 2015.

That day, Kim Jong Un visited the then Pyongyang Municipal Old People's Home under construction and gave precious instructions on the construction of the home.

He paid close attention to such issues as building in a good harmony the rooms with floor-heating system and beds, supplying the tiles appropriate for floors at washrooms and bathhouse, and building a vegetable garden and a greenhouse for their healthy work.

Even on the folk holiday which the people across the country were enjoying, Kim Jong Un gave instructions for the old persons' convenience in their everyday life with a paternal affection.

At the home built under his warm loving care, the old persons are spending their remaining years in happiness. -0-
