Pyongyang, May 10 (KCNA) -- The remodeled Myonggan Corn Research Branch of the Corn Research Institute of the Academy of Agricultural Science in the DPRK was inaugurated.

The establishment of a research centre equipped with the conditions necessary for agricultural science research including a breeding research room equipped with modern facilities, laboratory and analysis room, provided another foundation for putting agricultural production on a scientific, IT and intensive basis.

Present at the inauguration ceremony held on May 9 were officials concerned and officials in Myonggan County and researchers and employees of the branch. -0-
