Commodity Exhibition Opens in DPRK

Pyongyang, November 16 (KCNA) -- The 2024 autumn commodity exhibition at the Pyongyang Underground Shop opened in the DPRK.

At the exhibition, 200-odd units from across the country presented at least 706 000 products of more than 1 500 kinds, including various kinds of foodstuff, footwear and bags.

South Hamgyong and Kangwon provinces and Nampho Municipality presented household goods made with locally available raw materials and agricultural products to adorn the venue of the exhibition.

The opening ceremony held on November 15 was attended by officials concerned, officials and working people of the commercial sectors and production units in Pyongyang and provinces.

Kwak Jong Jun, minister of Commerce, made an opening address there. -0-
