Pyongyang, December 3 (KCNA) -- Modern dwelling houses have been built at the Tongchon Farm in Cholsan County of North Phyongan Province and the Jonchang Farm in Songwon County of Jagang Province under the care of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Congratulatory speeches were made at the meetings attended by Sin Chang Gil, chairman of the Jagang Provincial People's Committee, officials of the Party and power organs of the relevant regions, builders and agricultural workers who would move into new houses.

Speakers said that the new dwelling houses, which have risen up demonstrating the vibrant changes in the socialist countryside, show visually the validity and vitality of the programme for the rural revolution in the new era set forth by the Party.

After receiving the licenses for the use of houses, the speakers extended gratitude to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un for providing the agricultural workers with an affluent and civilized life.

As art performances to celebrate the house-moving and joyful dancing parties were given, the villages were in a festive mood.

Officials visited the families of farmers who moved into the new houses to share joy with them.

Songs of happiness and laughter were heard from every house and fireworks were set off. -0-
