Pyongyang, April 16 (KCNA) -- Working people, service personnel, youth and students in the DPRK visited the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il in different parts of the country to pay homage to them on the occasion of the Day of the Sun, the greatest auspicious holiday of the nation.

Flower baskets were laid before the statues of the President and the Chairman on Mansu Hill in the name of the Party, power and armed forces organs, social organizations, ministries, national agencies, units of the Korean People's Army and the Public Security Forces, institutions, enterprises, factories at all levels and universities in Pyongyang.

The visitors paid tribute to the statues of the great leaders.

Flower baskets in the name of institutions, enterprises, units of the KPA and the PSF were laid before the statues of the great leaders in various parts of Pyongyang including Kim Il Sung University and the Mansudae Art Studio.
