Pyongyang, June 9 (KCNA) -- Agricultural workers in South Hamgyong Province of the DPRK finished rice-transplanting in the main area.

Farms have set the order of rice transplantation, ensured the number of rice seedlings in a proper way and directed their efforts to finishing all farming processes earlier than the same period of last year, thus transplanting rice seedlings in more areas than planned every day.

They ensured proper process-by-process engagement while increasing the proportion of mechanization in farming and mobilizing all forces and means.

They organized a socialist emulation among workteams and sub-workteams on the basis of correctly grasping the characteristic of rice seedlings and fertility of soil.
