Vol. 62 of "Complete Collection of  Kim Jong Il's Works" Published

Pyongyang, January 15 (KCNA) -- The Workers' Party of Korea Publishing House brought out Vol. 62 of "Complete Collection of Kim Jong Il's Works", a library of immortal Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism which comprehensively contains the classic works of Chairman Kim Jong Il in a chronological order.

Contained in the book are 51 works, including historic talks, made public by Kim Jong Il between January and May 2001.

"Let Us Enhance the Role of the Primary Information Workers of the Party as Required by the Revolutionary Advance in the New Century" and other works comprehensively set forth the tasks and ways for bringing about a turn in the overall work of the Party as required by the new century, including enhancing the sense of responsibility and role of the primary information workers of the Party.

"The Exploits of the Great Leader and the Party in Leading the Army Should Be Defended and Glorified" and other works clarify the ways for the People's Army to intensify the education in the exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung and the Party in guiding the army, make full preparations for war and improve the diet of service personnel.

And there are works stressing that lots of large hydroelectric power stations should be built to solve the electricity problem, leading economic officials should introduce advanced technologies in keeping with the specific conditions of the country, and North Phyongan Province should develop the machine-building industry and the light industry in the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance.

The book also contains works giving perfect answers to the theoretical and practical issues arising in all fields of the revolution and construction, including the issue of preserving and managing the revolutionary battle sites and intensifying education through them, the issue of bringing about innovations in the construction design, the issue of training computer geniuses well and the issue of steadily developing the work of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan generation after generation. -0-
