Pyongyang, March 24 (KCNA) -- Graduate students of universities of education and teachers training colleges in Jagang, Kangwon and North Hamgyong provinces volunteered for revolutionary battle sites in the area of Mt Paektu and schools in forefront, mountainous and rural areas and on islets.
Graduates of Kanggye University of Education and Chongjin O Jung Hup University of Education petitioned to send them to the honorable posts in the revolutionary battle sites in the area of Mt Paektu with the single mind to become soldiers of the ideological front of the Workers' Party of Korea who inspire the working people and young people with the spirit of Paektusan.
Those of Kanggye University of Education, Kanggye Teachers Training College, Wonsan University of Education, Wonsan Ri Su Dok Teachers Training College and Kim Jong Suk Teachers Training College volunteered for schools in forefront, mountainous and rural areas and on islets.
Among the volunteers are young people who studied to the full at "pedigree farms" for education of the rising generation after graduating primary and middle schools for orphans, cherishing the mind to repay the loving care of the motherly Party.
Present at the congratulatory meetings held on spots on March 23 were Kim Yong Hwan, chief secretary of the North Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Jon Yong Jae and Kim Song Chol, secretaries of the Jagang and Kangwon provincial committees of the WPK, officials concerned, officials of the youth league, youth and students.
Officials, youth and students encouraged the volunteers, presenting bunches of flowers to them. -0-
