Pyongyang, September 10 (KCNA) -- A reception was given for labor innovators and meritorious persons invited to the celebrations of the 77th founding anniversary of the DPRK at the People's Palace of Culture on Sept. 9.

Leading officials of the Party, government and armed forces organs were on hand.

Pak Thae Song, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and premier of the Cabinet of the DPRK, made a congratulatory speech at the reception.

Upon authorization of the Party Central Committee and the DPRK government, he warmly congratulated the labor innovators and meritorious persons who celebrated the national day with the pride of having contributed to the development and prosperity of the socialist country with patriotic enthusiasm and sincere efforts at worksites and posts.

The noble appearance of all generations, who carry forward the great patriotic spirit and immortal tradition and form one organic body, is the dignified image of the DPRK people recorded in the nearly 80-year history, he noted.

He expressed belief that labor innovators and meritorious persons would steadily create more innovative successes with firm revolutionary will, pure conscience and redoubled passion in the van of the historic struggle dynamically carrying forward all precious things they have achieved with loyalty and patriotic sweat to the dynamic overall prosperity. -0-
