Pyongyang, January 7 (KCNA) -- A performance of schoolchildren for greeting the New Year 2026 on the theme of "My Country Is the Best" is being given every day.

The performers artistically depicted the lively and cheerful feature of the rising generations growing up with nothing more to desire under the care of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un who is taking care of them with his love and affection, regarding the work related with the younger generation as the most important state affair.

The stage was colorfully decorated as members of the Children's Union and other children of talent showed their pride of honor pupils always taking the lead in the do-good-thing movement and sports activities, and their high artistic abilities and refined skills.

The music and dance story "We Grow up in the Bosom of the Marshal" touched the heartstrings of the audience as it showed the lively and cheerful appearance of the Korean schoolchildren in Japan honestly and staunchly growing up to be successors to the patriotic cause of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan, cherishing the honor of the unforgettable day when they met the respected fatherly Marshal in the yard of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Among the audience were students of Mangyongdae Revolutionary School and Chilgol Revolutionary School and working people and schoolchildren in Pyongyang Municipality. -0-
