Pyongyang, May 29 (KCNA) -- The Sangwon Cement Complex in the DPRK fulfilled its national economic plan for this month by May 28.

Its officials conducted brisk operations and command for raising the operation rate of systemic equipment and increasing the quality and quantity of cement.

They set the main targets for the overhauling of series No. 2 to lay a long-term production foundation and worked out a rational construction plan and schedule in a scientific way. On this basis, they gave precedence to the work for manufacturing necessary processed sheet metal, accessories and castings by themselves.

The units in charge of main production lines have steadily improved the performance indices of systemic equipment to effect an upsurge in production.

The officials and workers of the complex are now increasing production with their strong will to fulfill their honorable mission and vanguard role in carrying out the new long-term goals. -0-
