Pyongyang, October 29 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Wednesday in an editorial says that all the people across the country are taking greater steps forward in the general advance for the victorious conclusion of the five-year plan with high enthusiasm to greet the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea as the one of victors and glory.

It is the unshakable faith and will of the DPRK people to make this year a watershed of history which holds the most brilliant place in the history of the Korean revolutionary struggle and greet the Ninth Party Congress with pride through extraordinary wisdom and bravery, responsible efforts and strenuous efforts beyond the days which passed with pioneering and advance, the editorial says, and goes on:

Today our people are faced with the task of the times and the heavy historic responsibility for confidently carrying forward the precious victory brought about by loyalty and patriotism to the Ninth Party Congress.

Efforts and results of the remaining days will determine the success or failure of the five-year plan which has been creditably carried out.

Now is the time to launch a dynamic offensive without stopping for the congress of victors and glory and greater victory of our cause.

Making more courageous, effective and intensive efforts is the spirit of advance to be fully demonstrated in the on-going all-people advance of great political and historical significance to devotedly defend the prestige of the Party Congress, the basic principle to be thoroughly applied and the fighting attitude to be maintained to the last.

We should greet the Ninth Party Congress by making more courageous, effective and intensive efforts everyday as we did when we proudly greeted the Seventh Party Congress through the 70-day campaign of loyalty and defended the Eighth Party Congress with great feats in the 80-day campaign.
