Ceremony for Remodeling Cemetery of Fallen Fighters of CPV Held in DPRK

Pyongyang, October 23 (KCNA) -- A ceremony for remodeling the cemetery of fallen fighters of the Chinese People's Volunteers (CPV) in Sinphyong County, North Hwanghae Province, the DPRK, was held on the spot on Wednesday on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the entry of the CPV into the Korean front.

Present at the ceremony were Vice-Minister of Urban Management Kang Chol Ho, officials concerned, officials and working people in the province and the county.

Also on hand were Wang Yajun, Chinese ambassador to the DPRK, staff members of his embassy, the delegation of the veterans and families of martyrs of the CPV on a visit to the DPRK, Chinese guests staying in the DPRK, Chinese students and residents in DPRK.

Flower baskets were laid at the cemetery and the participants paid a silent tribute to the memory of the CPV martyrs.

Wang Yajun and Kang Chol Ho made speeches at the ceremony. -0-
