Pyongyang, July 1 (KCNA) -- The Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea (GFTUK) and trade union organizations at all levels are rendering support for farms.

Officials of the Central Committee of the GFTUK visited the farms in their charge and aroused farmers to carrying out their immediate farming tasks while working together with them.

Officials of the Pyongyang Municipal Committee of the GFTUK sent over 1 98 000 tons of organic manure and 215 000 small farm implements of 11 kinds to the farms in the municipality.

The South Hwanghae Provincial Committee of the GFTUK handed over 300 farm machine parts of 10 kinds to the farms in Haeju City and dispatched farm machine repair teams to farms to repair and maintain many farm machines.

The same is true of many trade union organizations including those of Chollima District in Nampho Municipality, Wonsan University of Agriculture and the Sukchon County Food Administration Station. -0-
