Pyongyang, April 30 (KCNA) -- The title of Model Technical Innovation Unit (including double and triple) has been conferred on more than 100 units in the DPRK.

The cement workshop of the Sunchon Cement Complex invented and introduced many technical innovation proposals conducive to protecting equipment and increasing the operation rate, thus contributing to the drive for increased production.

The Tudan Duck Farm invented technical innovation proposals conducive to the production of duck and edible ducks' eggs and the assorted feed workshop of the Maram Assorted Feed Factory established a computer-aided automatic control system, which integrates feeding system by PLC, weighing system, crushing system and mixing system, thus making it possible to realize the automation of the assorted feed production and increase quality and productivity of goods.

Taking the lead in the mass technical innovation movement are the Nyongbyon Silk Mill which is putting spurs to technical innovation for increasing the variety of silk products and improving their quality and the Ryugyong Fermented Soybean Factory which is putting the production lines and management on a modern and IT basis.

Many technical innovation proposals were invented and introduced, thanks to the voluntary enthusiasm and creative initiative of the masses at the workteam No. 16 of the Phungjong Farm in Jungsan County of South Phyongan Province, the town workteam in the Thaechon Sericulture Station of North Phyongan Province and other units in the agricultural sector. -0-
