Pyongyang, August 9 (KCNA) -- Meetings of relevant units were held on August 8 to mark the 40th anniversary of the field guidance of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il at the Changgwang street of a chain of restaurants and the 40th founding anniversaries of the Changgwang Public Service Management Office and Changgwang General Restaurant.

The President and the Chairman visited the completed street on August 9, 1985 and were greatly satisfied with the newly-built restaurants. And they gave precious instructions on the issues arising in service and management activities including the issue of supplying raw materials and the issue of improving the quality of dishes and service level.

Having always paid deep attention to the public service, the President and the Chairman repeatedly bestowed great loving care and benevolence and made sure that the above-said units fulfill their role as the mass public catering service bases frequented by the people.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un paying deep attention to providing the DPRK people with more civilized and better dietary conditions has meticulously led the said units to further improve their service conditions and environment and bring about a fresh turn in public service.

Present at the meetings were officials and employees of the Guidance Bureau of Public Catering Service, the Changgwang Public Service Management Office and Changgwang General Restaurant.
