Pyongyang, February 28 (KCNA) -- Officers and men of the Korean People's Army, out in the third-year struggle to implement the regional development policy in a new era, make their first stride in the regional construction projects.

Thanks to the struggle of soldier-builders, the foundation excavation for regional-industry factories has been completed in Unnyul, Kangnam, Phyongwon, Songhwa, Pongsan, Thongchon, Sinhung, Myonggan and Musan counties and the area of the Sinuiju Combined Greenhouse Farm in a short period. And foundation excavation is being carried out at full speed in the construction sites for hospitals and leisure complexes across the country.

The non-permanent Ministry of National Defence group for the regional Development 20×10 Policy is intensifying its policy-oriented and technical guidance at the construction of regional-industry factories, hospitals and leisure complexes being conducted simultaneously, while working out grand plans according to the projects.

The soldier-builders are steadily making successes in the foundation projects with high enthusiasm. -0-
