Pyongyang, March 3 (KCNA) -- A grand art performance "Song to the Motherly Party", which significantly commemorated the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea, is going on with splendor at the Pyongyang Indoor Stadium every day.

Among the audience were commanding officers and soldiers of the units involved in the military parade commemorating the Party Congress, working people, youth and students in the capital city.

The performance shows in grand epic canvases the immortal exploits of the WPK which is ushering in a great heyday of comprehensive prosperity and development to be specially recorded in the history, while leading the struggle for accomplishing the great cause of building a rich country with a strong army to brilliant victory and a great upsurge.

The performance was acclaimed by the audience for reflecting the ardent patriotic spirit of the service personnel of the People's Army to fulfill their honorable mission and duty as the army of the Party and the people in the front-line bases for defending the country and worksites for creating and building the happiness of the people, as well as the ideological and moral traits of the young vanguard demonstrating their honor as the advancing group and shock brigade for socialist construction, with the full combination of vocal and instrumental music, dance and gymnastics, back-ground stand and changing lighting.
