Pyongyang, June 2 (KCNA) -- More than 10 farms in the region of Kangryong and Ongjin of South Hwanghae Province in the DPRK are stepping up rice-transplanting by using the desalted water of Lake Kangryong.
In the past, agricultural workers in the region suffered troubles in farming for lack of water. Various projects were conducted to solve this problem, but they were not substantially helpful to farming.
