Pyongyang, March 21 (KCNA) -- The workers of the Taean Heavy Machine Complex in the DPRK are bringing about a great upsurge in production.

Its boiler sheet metal processing and forging shops have made preliminary repair of equipment in time and responsible preparations for smelting to raise the quality and quantity of products.

The generating equipment assembling shop and the generating equipment processing shop No. 1 are putting spurs to the production of electric motors for coal mines while keeping equipment in full-capacity operation.

The generating equipment sheet and custom-built equipment metal processing shops have made innovations in production by studying science and technology in a purposeful way and introducing valuable technical proposals.

The speed increase machine shop, too, is increasing the operating ratio of machines to produce various kinds of gears for thermal power plants.

The gear reducer shop and the large-scale machine shop have fulfilled their daily production plans by making good use of efficient jigs and equipment to reduce the processing time. -0-
