Pyongyang, November 7 (KCNA) -- Officials and primary information workers of the Socialist Women's Union of Korea (SWUK) across the DPRK launched the political work in the Hwasong area of Pyongyang.

The SWUK Central Committee organized a political work contest among officials and primary information workers of the union from different parts of the country at sites for building 10 000 flats at the third stage in the Hwasong area.

Union officials of Pyongyang conducted information and motivation activities with poems, songs and other artistic works.

Those from North Phyongan and Jagang provinces represented the deep reverence for the benevolent father who visited the construction sites to provide the inhabitants in the flood-hit areas with new dwelling houses as early as possible.

Those from North Hwanghae and North Hamgyong provinces ardently called upon the builders to make a dynamic advance to move up the day when they would inform the Party of the completion.

Women's union officials from South Hwanghae, South Hamgyong, Ryanggang, South Phyongan and Kangwon provinces and Kaesong, Nampho and Rason municipalities boosted the builders' enthusiasm through their vigorous political work. -0-
