Pyongyang, June 25 (KCNA) -- An anti-doping workshop took place at the lodging quarter for sportspersons in Chongchun Street on the occasion of Olympic Day.

Present there were members of the DPRK Olympic Committee, officials, players and coaches in the field of sports, and sports medicine and anti-doping experts.

The workshop, held on the theme of "Olympic Day 2025 - Olympians and Anti-doping", dealt with practical issues arising in further intensifying anti-doping in the field of sports.

Speakers referred to the danger and harmful consequences of doping, the responsibility and role of players in observing anti-doping rules, and recent examples of violating the anti-doping rule and forms of their expression throughout the world.

The workshop stressed the important issues of further strengthening anti-doping. -0-
