Pyongyang, April 8 (KCNA) -- Members of the women's union in Pyongyang Municipality of the DPRK have turned out as one in the spring cleaning campaign.

The municipal women's union committee makes sure that a movement to win the title of the Loyal July 11 Red Flag Dong and Neighborhood Unit and a movement to create Families Exemplary in Socialist Cultured Way of Life are conducted as mass-based ones. It also sees to it that all the women's union members and women raise their level of civilization and foster their love for their home villages and families and the rising generation during the campaign.

The Taedonggang District committee of the women's union is conducting the spring hygienic campaign, finding and generalizing the positive deeds displayed in the work for sprucing up dongs and neighborhood units.

Women's union members in Hwasong District keep well their houses associated with the loving care of the Workers' Party of Korea and cultivate various kinds of flowers at home, adding beauty to the street.

Women's union organizations in Chilgol-dong No. 3, Konguk-dong and Sonnae-dong of Mangyongdae District built new playgrounds and resting places through a mass-based movement under good plans.

Women's union members in Songyo District repainted the internal and external building walls of apartment houses, tending lawns and improving roads in their residential areas.

Thanks to the efforts of women's union members in different parts of the municipality, including Rangnang District and Tongdaewon District, urban beautification is hastened. -0-
