Pyongyang, March 19 (KCNA) -- Growing in the DPRK is the pubic interest in education.

Pyongyang Municipality has directed big efforts to the assistance to education, with the main stress put on helping Changdok School, Samhung Middle School, and Changjon Primary School in Central District and other educational units stand in the vanguard of the country.

Tens of teachers with good abilities in the municipality visited schools and kindergartens in the island areas of Sinuiju City and Uiju County to hand over various kinds of teaching materials and hold a practical course on the introduction of advanced teaching methods.

Cities and counties of South Phyongan Province are striving to solve the knotty problems arising in educational units in March, a month for assistance to schools.
