Jagang Provincial Seat Spruced Up

Pyongyang, June 19 (KCNA) -- Jagang Province in the DPRK is sprucing up Kanggye City, the provincial seat.

The repair and distemper painting of 960-odd multi-storey dwelling houses were completed and thousands of square meters of green lands were newly created. And the province has planted tens of thousands of trees and flowering shrubs of good species to add beauty to streets and villages.

The projects for tiling outer walls of 10-odd multi-storey dwelling houses, service buildings and educational units in the areas of Woeryong-dong and Kangso-dong were completed and multi-storey dwelling houses in the center of the city are sprucing up.

While directing its efforts to remodeling the water park, the city replaced the tiles of the water tank and repaired pavements within 20-odd days.

It is readjusting and repairing sewage purifying facilities and infrastructure. -0-
