Pyongyang, December 20 (KCNA) -- North Hamgyong Province of the DPRK secured tens of millions of saplings to be planted next year.

The provincial tree nursery has carried on every process as required by technical regulations while directing big efforts to putting sapling production on a scientific and intensive basis and thus raised more than 10 million saplings including Larix lepolepis and pine-nut trees.

Onsong County has cultivated many saplings by manuring and tending them in a responsible manner according to their species. Hoeryong City secured millions of saplings while consolidating material and technical foundation of sapling production units and raising the level of technical knowledge and skills of their employees.

The province has made the relevant units to keep technical requirements in storage and management of saplings. -0-
