Pyongyang, May 9 (KCNA) -- DPRK Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui met and had a talk with Wang Yajun, new Chinese ambassador to the DPRK, who paid a courtesy call on her on May 8.

Choe Son Hui and Wang Yajun expressed their steadfast stand to further develop the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the DPRK and China, true to the noble intention of the leaders of the two parties and the two countries.

The talk was held in a comradely and friendly atmosphere.

Present there were Vice-Minister Pak Myong Ho and officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and staff members of the Chinese embassy including Resident Minister Feng Chuntai.

Then, a reception was given by the DPRK government for Wang Yajun. -0-
