KCNA Commentary Sneers at Puppet ROK and Its Master

Pyongyang, February 14 (KCNA) -- The confrontation hysteria against the DPRK is getting evermore pronounced in the puppet ROK amid the worsening political chaos.

In January alone, riff-raffs acting for the arrested former bosses were busy visiting units of the puppet army to let loose such reckless remarks as "punishment by overwhelming force" and "heavy price" that put even the predecessors into the shade. The puppet defence ministry announced a "business plan for 2025" with clear-cut anti-DPRK confrontational nature, in which it decided to increase the number of field mobile maneuvers at brigade and above level by far more than last year, hitting an all-time high, in the period of Freedom Shield, a joint military drill with the U.S. to be staged this year.

What is more serious is the moves for arms buildup in parallel with the confrontational reckless remarks.

The puppet ROK is planning to purchase helicopters for naval operations from the U.S. in a bid to enhance the attack capability against submarine and others of the DPRK, while accelerating the introduction of attack and reconnaissance drones for special operation.

Some days ago, it cooked up a "naval task force command", loudly advertising it as the "core force of national defence" to cope with "nuclear and missile threats" from the DPRK. And it even cried out for "winning a war", improper to the position of a colonial servant.

What matters is that though the incumbent president has turned into a defendant and a political confusion by the scramble for power and the dog-fight for existence has appeared in the puppet ROK, the puppet military is persistently resorting to the confrontation moves aimed at the DPRK.

It is as clear as noonday that the U.S. played its role to inspire the puppet military.

With the great political confusion in the puppet ROK by Yoon Suk Yeol's announcement of the emergency martial law, the U.S. authorities vied with each other to remark that mutual military cooperation is still strongly maintained and it will last beyond the present government and that the ROK is an important partner of the U.S. in the India-Pacific region.

Shortly ago, the U.S. secretary of Defence phoned a person acting as the puppet defence minister to incite the confrontation with the DPRK, talking about the "strong joint defence posture" to effectively "deter" and "counter" the "nuclear and missile threats" from the DPRK.

It is the demand of the master U.S. that the puppet ROK should continue to "faithfully play the role" of a shock brigade in carrying out the former's strategy for hegemony, whether the latter falls into chaos or not. And it is the plight of the puppet forces, the servants of the U.S., that they have to meet the demand of their master even if their family collapses.

The DPRK can never overlook the reckless nature of the enemies, though it is little short of the acts of the foolish servant with the dull-witted master.

The desperate confrontation moves of the immutable arch enemies show in practice that entirely just is the DPRK's steadfast stand which is to thoroughly contain and frustrate their moves on the strength of powerful military muscle by bolstering up its defence capabilities more radically.

The U.S. should directly look at its rival and the change of the world and stop such foolish act as burning itself to the fire it has set. -0-
